Description: St. Luke's Episcopal Health System is presently looking of Radiology Technologist / Surgery/ Tues-Sat days right now, this career will be placed in Texas. More complete informations about this career opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Operates diagnostic equipment and performs a variety of technical diagnostic imaging procedures. Provides patient orient! ation, procedure explanation and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performs complete diagnostic imaging tests inclusive of positioning patient, calibration of equipment and documentation of findings with the direction of the imaging supervisor/manager. Assists patients with basic patient care needs. Provides emergency care notifying appropriate personnel and ensures that patient safety is not jeopardized. Must be willing and available to take call.
Qualifications
Must be very proficient in surgery
Minimum Education: Successful completion of a two-year program in Radiology.
Minimum years in field previous to employment: 0
Preferred number of years in field: 1
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements.
One-year experience as a Radiologic Technologist (preferred).
Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR! ).
Licensure Certification and/or Registration: MRT, RTR
