Job Summary
Chief Nursing Officer
South Texas Spine and Surgical Hospital, a subsidiary of Surgery Partners, and located in North San Antonio, is seeking a dynamic individual to lead the nursing division.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Nursing Officer will be responsible for strategic oversight and operational performance for patient care services.
Responsibilities and Duties
Providing leadership, guidance and direction, the CNO will be responsible to develop, assess, plan, implement and evaluate clinically effective and efficient systems of care and service while ensuring that the organizational mission, philosophy, goals and objectives are met. The ideal candidate will have a solid working knowledge of financial management, budget responsibilities, timeline management, and The Joint Commission standards.
Qualifications and Skills
The successful candidate will have a proven managerial track record of 3 â€" 5 years in an acute care hospital with a high volume surgery department. Masters Degree in Nursing required or in progress.
