The Instrument Sales Representative is an OR/Central Processing based sales role dedicated to the sale of Teleflexs Pilling and KMedic branded surgical instruments within the broader surgical product portfolio.

Growth objectives will be defined by and coordinated with the Regional Sales Manager, achieved through selectively promoting the value proposition to OR Coordinators, Central Processing, Surgeons, and Hospital Materials Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Attain or exceed annual sales quota.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Tele! flex surgical instrument portfolio.
  • Establish, mainta! in and manage instrument consignment inventory within selected accounts
  • Collaborate with sales representatives and leaders to drive sales results.
  • Assist in establishing sales objectives for the territory in cooperation with Regional Sales Manager and Field Instrument Manager
  • Maintain established business and discover new opportunities in assigned territory.
  • Communicate customer needs and solicit support internally to help achieve established objectives.
  • Timely completion of all administrative responsibilities
  • Provide accurate forecast of sales, by customer and product, on a timely basis.
  • Conduct selling activities in compliance with Teleflex policies and procedures.
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in business or a related field.
  • 3+ years of surgical instrument related sales, with a proven successful track record.
  • Candidate will be required to ! carry a detail bag weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Candidate will be required to lift equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
Specialized Skills:
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills required
  • Excellent platform presentation skills required
  • Ability to strategize and create sales territory plans is highly preferred
