Altos Federal Group is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to provide services at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.
Perform a general Physical examinat! ion. Determine medical qualification for various purposes. Prepare documentation required for submission to the Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) and/or Entry Level Separations as determined by circumstances. Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergent problems as they occur.
Communicate to appropriate health personnel either orally or in writing the findings, diagnosis, and planned treatment regimen as required.
Performs administrative duties to maintain patient medical records which includes coding of patient encounters and completes all documentation within seventy two (72) hours of care. The PA-C may be required to operate and manipulate automated systems such as Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application, Composite Health Care System, Essentris and the Ambulatory Data System.

Required Experience
Shal! l have at least 2 years of experience in the last 3 years working working in Cardiology or Internal Medicine.
Certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Committee on Certification Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and have Drug Enforcement Administration number to have prescriptive privileges.
Have and Maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
A Graduate of a Physician Assistant Training Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA), or its predecessors, and acceptable to the Surgeon General, USAF.
Will provide appropriate Continuing Medical Education (CME) documentation to the COR or designated government representatives with one month after all CME accredited events
