Scott & White Healthcare and the Texas A&M University Health Science Center is recruiting a BC! Transplant Surgeon to support the Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program . Scott & White offers high quality kidney, kidney/pancreas and pancreas-after-kidney transplants, and is the only transplant center in Texas between Austin and Dallas. The program is supported by UNOS-certified transplant nephrology staff, complex vascular access support, an established minimally invasive urologic surgery center (robotics, laparoscopic donor nephrectomy), along with a full complement of other tertiary surgical and medical specialty care.

• Currently performing 30 to 50 transplants per year, and more than 400 patients in active follow up.
• Participation in the Alliance for Paired Donation for kidney transplantation, and an active live kidney donor program.
• Significant growth in dialysis program ongoing, and opportunities for regional program development.

The qualified candidate must be BC and Fellowship trained, and meet UNOS criteria for kidney and pancreas transplantation. The candidate should have an interest in resident/medical student education, and previous research interest is desired. Faculty appointment is commensurate with qualifications and experience via the Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine.
