The Human Resources Generalist (âHRGâ) Serves as Human Resources contact aligned with Group HR Managers to provide Human Resources service to client groups. Supports all Human Resou! rces initiatives as requested and needed.
Key Responsibilities :
First line of contact for teammate questions. Leverages internal and external HR support resources to resolve issues. Escalates complex issues or those which indicate trends which could impact the company.
Supports the Human Resources lane owner on all due diligence and integration activities for acquisitions. Identifies risks, recommends solutions, works with other members of HR, and interacts with center teammates. Supports the flawless integration which maximizes investment. May collaborate with other resources to ensure integration success.
Supports recruiting and hiring process for client groups. This may include sourcing, interviewing, advertising open positions, scheduling travel for candidates, etc.
Manages routine teammate disciplinary issues and makes recommendations for resolution
Escalates and partners with Group HR Manager to resolve complex teammate issues
! Assists in the efficient onboarding of key company positions Provides recommendations on internal best practices, mitigating risks, policy and compliance related topics. Interprets and makes recommendations on policies and procedures. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations. Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and contractual commitments.
Evaluates Personnel Action Forms (PAF) and approve/return as appropriate. Maintains electronic PAF/PRF application
Recommends and processes salary adjustments discretionary bonuses, severance and other compensation items
Works with Group Human Resources Managers to produce and coordinate severance and other termination documents. Provides explanation and answers questions
Collaborates with client groups to conduct investigations including, but not limited to, information received from teammates, the compliance hotline, and/or center requests.
Represents teammates concerns and views and accountable for communicating to enterprise HR functions
Epitom! izes SCAâs values and execution model. Assists in development and delivery of training materials
Prepares Ad Hoc reports as requested
Completes special projects as assigned
Implements enterprise initiatives
Provides support on immigration issues
Complies with all internal and SOX controls
Is a good steward of the companyâs assets
Requirements :
Ability to manage a significant workload and fast-paced flow of expected output. Comfortable with matrix and remote reporting relationships
Self-starter who works collaboratively with other members of the client and Human Resources teams
Must have strong MS Office skills
Healthcare experience strongely preferred
Total Education, Vocational Training and Experience :
Bachelorâs degree in applicable field required and 3-5 yearsâ Human Resources experience
PHR or SPHR required; PHR-CA or SPHR-CA a huge plus
Working knowledge of all functional area! s of Human Resources
Experience in the ambulatory surgery center in! dustry a huge plus
