Kalisher was founded in 1999 to make great art affordable for everyone, and we have grown to be one of the world's leading art consulting firms. Our broad capabilities include art creation through an in-house studio, art curation through an external network of 4,500 artists, and in-house manufacturing. Kalisher's art is sold into commercial spaces across diverse industries including hospitality, multifamily, and senior living, with marquee-brand clients such as Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott.
Key Accountabilities

Collaborative partnership with AC’s- Trend and industry understanding
- Art background or relevant portfolio
Primary Responsibilities:
- Artwork creation, image sourcing and modification of existing content to develop art packages on a daily deliverable schedule
- Balance need for digital and traditional media and methods
- Junior Studio Artists often serve as “Runners” on Studio Fridays, handling rush requests as needed
- Participate in internal kick-off calls as directed by Creative Director or Studio Manager
- Participate in external kick-offs and client calls with the Art Consultant, Studio Manager or Creative Director as needed
- Collaborate with the Art Consulting team during creation process to create a cohesive vision for the project
- Submit AR drafts for review and refinement by the Studio Manager
Skills and Talents:
- Well-rounded artist with strong base in digital and physical art creation and an understanding of composition, balance and modern aesthetics.
- Intermediate to expert level Adobe Photoshop skills.
- Some experience with InDesign and Illustrator definitely a plus.
- Experience using Mac computers.
- Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills, and an excellent teammate with a phenomenal outlook.
- Good written and verbal skills, ability to collaborate in a team-focused environment.
- Must be open to feedback and able to embrace change.
- Ability to interpret and anticipate client needs in collaboration with Art Consultants in order to deliver art packages precisely suited to the needs of the project.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, with strong ability to prioritize and excellent time management skills.
- Solution-oriented and self-directed; can connect all the dots and think before acting.
- Ability to wear many different hats; comfortable in an evolving, high-demand, fast-paced industry with the capacity to recover quickly from challenges.
