We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Manager to be based in Austin, TX.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties include:
Managing a large sized group engaged in manufacturing activities that have a direct impact to the overall objectives of the Company. Works on meeting complex production, quality and cost objectives. Must have extensive experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles, specifically cellular manufacturing, SMED & Kanban Systems. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plans, administers and determines how to best utilize budget and resources to complete objectives. Ensure all products are manufactured per procedure and all processes are compliant with internal and regulatory policies. The ability to develop capital and operational budgets. Develops schedules, manpower requirements, and goals for assigned areas. Provide strategic and tactical leadership, work ! direction and guidance to the group and interacts frequently w! ith clients and managers at all levels. Establishes procedures and policies within the group. Typically reports into a director level or higher and manages a mixture of support managers (including facilities), professionals and non-exempt staff to include team development and performance management.
10+ Yrs of Manufacturing Management Experience. Bachelors Degree or equivalent is required.
