Pediatric Operating Room Nurse - (Peds OR RN - Pedi OR RN)

SHIFT: 10 D (10:30a-7p), or weekends 7a-7p (Fri, Sat and Sun)
The role of the pediatric operating room nurse (Pedi OR RN) is to provide care for patients ranging from neonatal/infancy to young adulthood before, during, and after surgical procedures. Pedi OR nurses are typically either circulating nurses (working within the operating room but outside of the sterile field) or scrub nurses (handling items and tools used in the sterile field as well as making preparatio! ns for surgery). Specialties of pediatric OR nurses include cr! aniofacial/plastics; ear, nose, and throat (ENT); neurology; ophthalmology; orthopedics; transplant; trauma; urology; vascular; and general surgery.
