Travel: NoneExperience: 1-2 YearsIndustry: Healthcare / Health ServicesType: Full-TimeDescription: OR Robotic Coordinator - El Paso, Texas US Unit:OPERATING ROOMJob Summary:The DaVinci Service Line Coordinator (SLC) is responsible for supervision and/or coordination of all staff assigned to DaVinci procedures his/her team and the coordination/communication of information relevant to the intra-operative patient care process. The DaVinci Service Line Coordinator also provides feedback regarding patient care, budgetary, and strategic planning opportunities for improvement. Duties include to collaborate and coordinate the efforts of the surgical staff to meet the needs of the surgical schedule, surgeons, anesthesia care providers, patients and staff needs; to supervise the daily activities if the surgical department to assure quality patient care; to anticipate and estimate future needs of the unit, and make arrangements for the needs to be met; i.e., equipment, supplies; to provide professional nursing care to surgical patients utilizing the nursing process; to collaborate and coordinate with other members of the surgical team including physicians to deliver quality health care. Responsible for assuring that the surgical case is properly prepared for and to assure quality care for the patient. Responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and directing the operation of the OR while preparing for, during, and after the case. Develops and maintains positive work relations with all internal and external customers. Responsible for all surgical cases regarding DaVinci Robotics, and to circulate the case through its entirety. Responsible in overseeing the EMI coordinator in all equipment, supplies and inventory having to do with the DaVinci

Served: Core competencies will be assessed primarily on the following patient population(s) served: Pre and intraoperative interventions, including but not limited to Cardiovascular/Thoracic, Neuro, GI, GU, GYN, Orthopedics, Skeletal/Muscular conditions and diseases etcRequirements:REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS1. BCLSREQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 1. Texas or compact state nursing license,BSNPREFERRED EDUCATION, LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:1. Ability to direct others and negotiate for desired results2. Ability to work well as part of the leadership team3. Demonstrates decision-making and problem-solving skills4. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills5. Clinical competency in OR6. Demonstrates knowledge of computers7. Registered Nurse (RN) with valid state license required8. Three years of OR nursing experience required.9. Two years of management/Coord experience preferred10. Membership and participation in professional nursing and community organizations preferred11. Certified Nurse in the Operating Room (CNOR) credentialing preferred Deparment: NURSE: OR / SURGICAL SVCS
