Day Surgery Unit (Outpatient) Candidates to have outpatient surgery experience with Medical Surgical background. The unit provides pre and post operative care to appropriate outpatients for surgical or diagnostic procedures. Patients who are not in need of prior hospitalization or blood can be admitted to the Day Surgery Unit. ASPAN (American Society of per-Anesthesia Nurses standards of care are followed www.aspan.org. Shifts are days, Fex, Monday through Friday, no weekends or on call requirements; start date is 08/03/2012.
