Half And Half continuing to grow and we're seeking full time permanent Front of House / Waiters to join our teams in Te Awamutu And Hamilton.
We're a fun and friendly Restaurant/Bar/café/takeaway located in great Waikato region - our philosophy is to serve great food and coffee and deliver exceptional, humble service to our guests. Tasks Include:
- setting and arranging tables
- greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists
- taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff
- serving food and beverages
- opening bottles and pouring beverages
- clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to kitchen
- removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses
- collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers
- may recommend wines to complement food
The successful applicant benefits to have the following attributes:
*Duty managers license
*At least six month experience as duty manager .
*Cocktail/coffee making skills preferred
*A fun, people person with great communication skills
*Excellent customer service skills
*Previous restaurant experience
*A Team player with a 'can do' attitude.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean tables the all time
Keep the café clean and tidy the all time
2. Provides quality beverages consistently for all customers
- Prepares restaurants beverages to standards.
- Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
3. Maintains Quality store operations
- Follows store policy and procedures for operational flow at each station.
- Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing products.
- Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with the duty rosters and cleaning standards and
Works as a store team member.
- Presents oneself professionally and demonstrates clear communication by using Star
Skills with all customer and partner interactions.
4. Contributes to store profitability
Follows cash handling procedures and cash register policies.
- Follows inventory stocking and recording guidelines.
- Contributes to store goals for increasing sales and improving profits.
- Helping on washing up in the kitchen.
- Helping in the food preparation in the kitchen with the chef IF NECCESERAY
