Job Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and check them in and out
- Respond to patient messages in a timely manner
- Maintain and update patient records in EMR
- Take a medical history and room patients
- Perform data entry and scribing
- Send prescriptions and respond to refill and authorization requests
- Organize and order medical supplies
- Perform blood pressure checks, blood draws, injections, and other various medical tasks as requested by the physician and manager
- Restock exam rooms and ensure they’re always adequately supplied
- Sterilize instruments and perform aut oclave testing
- Set up for medical procedures and surgeries
- Assist with surgical procedures
- Educate patient on their condition and appropriate use of medications, as directed by physician
- Collect payments and schedule appointments
- Communicate test results and physician recommendations to patients
- Process and handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Manage physician’s daily schedule and meetings
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $13.00 to $16.00 /hour
Education:
- High school
License:
- CMA
- Registered Nurse (RN)
