We are currently seeking a motivated Clinical Coordinator who is experienced to assist with the treatment and care of our diverse population of high-risk patients. This person is one who takes pride in being a reliable professional that is compassionate and empathetic to our patients’ needs. Preferred candidates will be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or LVN in the state of TX to be considered for immediate full-time employment as a member of our team in Houston, TX.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Staffing
- Coordinates the office staff to guarantee coverage for all essential clinical duties
- Ensures staff is adequately cross trained to performed clinical functions
- Assists staff when needed, covering for absences as appropriate
- Performs the functions of the medical assistant during heavy patient load or when the medical assistant is on PTO
Patient
- Answer referral calls
- Initial contact with patients to collect the patient pre-appointment history
- Schedule appointments and surgeries
- Greet each patient with a positive and compassionate attitude
- Develop and maintain compassionate, yet professional, relationships with the patients
- Answer patient questions and concerns
- Anticipate and react calmly to emergent situations
- Escalates patient complaints to the Patient Financial Services Manager
- Follow-up phone calls
Facility
- Identifies any insufficiency in office equipment and orders repairs
- Coordinates office maintenance and repairs with building management
- Orders, stocks, and maintains adequate inventories of all medical and office supplies
- Cross-train with medical assistant on basic duties.
- Addresses physician concerns / needs with the Patient Financial Services Manager
Other
- Other duties as assigned within the physical parameters of this position scope.
- Participates and supports initiatives designed to improve individual and organizational performance.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certification: Valid Texas Certified Medical Assistant or LVN
Experience:
- Minimum of four years clinical Certified MA or LVN experience, at least two in the field of fertility. (Gyn office preferred)
- Phlebotomy a plus
- Ultrasound a plus
