Clinic Service Representative
Location: Fort Worth Texas
Description: University of North Texas Health Science Center is employing Clinic Service Representative right now, this position will be placed in Texas. For detail informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. UNT Health Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking to hire a Clinic Service Representative for the UNT Bone & Joint Institute. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Ensures Patient Flow
- Responsible for all functions of front desk patient registration, including preparing and assisti! ng patients with consent forms to be scanned and monitoring tasks in EHR
- Cash Management
- Schedule and maintain patient appointments in OAS Gold according to prescribed protocol
- Facilitates referrals to and from the office
- Responsible for mail out and receipt of new patient information packets if the appointment is scheduled less than two weeks from the appointment date
- Responsible for mailing out letters pertaining to patients' appointments (no show, reschedule, unable to contact, etc)
- Maintain provider schedules in OAS Gold
- Provide support to other Medical Assistants and/or CSR Lead (as needed)
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:
- High school graduation or GED
- Three years experience in a medical or clerical field
The preferred candidate will possess the foll! owing additional qualifications:
- Ability to compl! y with the directions of supervisor, management and provider.
- Outpatient clinical administrative experience.
- Knowledge of managed care, computer systems and automated patient appointment systems.
