Shift: Monday â€" Friday: 07:30am â€" Until Last Patient Seen
Job Requirements/Skills:
Two (2) years of nursing experience with a BSN.
Three (3) years of nursing experience with a Nursing Diploma.
Four (4) years of nursing experience with an ADN.
Job Description:
- Operating room
- Acts as liaison for family, gives hourly updates on patients condition in the OR
- Ensures that the PICU has provided IV pumps and medications to the OR
- Notifies Cardiology when needed for TEE
- Returns pages for Surgeons
- Returns to PICU/NICU and keeps surgeons updated on critical issues
- Keeps PICU updated on patient’s condition
- Fax operative letter to PCP and Cardiologist on day of surgery
