THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano is the first and only fre! estanding, full-service hospital in this region dedicated solely to heart and vascular health care and is designed to maximize the delivery of safe, quality, and compassionate care. The $134 million, 116-bed hospital was created through a partnership between Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano and cardiovascular physicians and surgeons practicing in North Texas. The hospital has received numerous awards and recognitions since its January 2007 opening, including three Press Ganey ® Summit Awards for Inpatient and Emergency Department satisfaction. Notably, this is the second year in a row that the hospital is honored with a Summit Award for Inpatient Satisfaction (2009 and 2010). The Summit Award is conferred upon health care organizations that have ranked in the 95 th percentile - the top five percent in the nation - or higher in the Press Ganey ® database for three consecutive years. Most recently, the hospital also received Magnet® Recognition, a coveted designatio! n currently held by only 5% of the hospitals in the United Sta! tes. Visit TheHeartHospitalBaylor.com to learn more. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating and coordinating patient care. Accountable that patient care meets standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights and guest relations. Supervises care delivered by patient care team; coordinates plan of care; provides education for patients and staff; collaborates with other disciplines; provides direct patient care for specific patient age groups.
Qualifications Associates Degree or equivalent required.
Bachelors degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
CPR/BLS is required.
