Description: Paris Regional Medical Center is currently seeking to employ Surgical Technologist-Surgery 050.6210.3010.010 right now, this position will be placed in Texas. Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for procedur! e. Monitor PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies. Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Operating Room Technician Certification or prior experience prior to 9/1/09 required. A graduate of an accredited educational program for surgical technologists must receive certification by the 180th day after the date the person graduates from the program.
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in the Operating Room preferred.
