academic children\'s hospital as a Pediatric Physician
Assistant in Pediatric Surgery, located in a nearby subur! ban location on
155 acres of green space that provides an environment of healing and
tranquility for the growing number of patients and their families who reside
north of the metropolitan area.
The Advanced Practice Provider in the Pediatric Surgical Unit
will be a member of the team of experts who provide surgical treatment for
infants, children and adolescents in their facility with state-of-the-art
operating rooms and perioperative areas that is primarily used for day surgery.
The Physician Assistant in Pediatric
Surgery is responsible for providing direct patient care and follow-up in
managing the pre-op and post-op needs of surgical patients and their
families. The PA in this role
uses their advanced knowledge and expertise to assess and interpret the data
and information needed to identify each patientÂ's care requirements and provide
that family-centered care for their patients.
Responsibilities include! writing admission orders, rounding, discharge,
clinic and! emergency department consulting.
This is a full-time position with comprehensive compensation and

Qualifications:
MSN or graduate of a
Master\'s level educational program for physician assistants, required;! current
RN license in the State of Texas, required; recognition as a
Physician Assistant (PA-C), licensed in the State of Texas, required; current CPR/BLS
and PALS certifications, required; previous pediatric surgical experience, required.
