We are searching for the right associate for I-20 Animal Medical Center, one of the largest and most successful prac! tices in the state. We are a privately owned, AAHA-certified, well-managed full-service general practice and 24-hr emergency/critical care referral and with 12 doctors and adding 2 ,our Medical Director is a residency-trained criticalist and our dentist a fellow of the Academy of Dentistry. Our 16,000 sq. ft. facility was a winner in the national Merit Award Hospital Design contest. I-20 Animal Medical Center is located in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area serving over 200 referring practices for emergency and critical care. We are a busy, exciting practice and doctors are well-compensated with excellent schedules to allow plenty of time to enjoy the rewards of hard work! Our doctors are not on call, but instead are expected to enjoy their time off.
Doctors have a long-term mentorship with a residency-trained criticalist to learn and utilize advanced internal medicine diagnostics and advanced critical patient care. When fully trained and comfortable with emergencies, they wil! l be included in the overnight rotation. Mentorship and peer d! iscussion is one of the many positive aspects of our hospital with a multitude of doctors from varied backgrounds and training.
The doctors here enjoy a great working relationship with the staff. We hire the best veterinary technicians. We have a full reception staff, phone officers and a kennel staff. We do have a fast paced emergency/routine care practice so the doctors get the best of both worlds. Our doctors averaged 120,000.00 in production based pay for this past year. They also have medical, life and dental as well as CE and vacation.
We have a large, well-trained support staff and supportive management available 24/7. Equipment includes video flexible and rigid endoscopes, bronchoscope, ultrasound including Doppler, diode laser, MedRx system, dental xray unit, full in-house lab, two full surgical suites, and a large fully-equipped ICU. We also added the latest laparascopic surgery equipment in January.
