Post by Jobing - Under the general direction of the Clinical Director, Periâ€"operative Services, the Registered Nurse for the Same Day Surgery Unit is responsible for professional! nursing care and related assistance to patients undergoing ambulatory procedures. The Registered Nurse in the Same Day Surgery Unit provides direction to Licensed Vocational Nurses and nonâ€"licensed nursing personnel in providing direct patient care. The Registered Nurse supports the medical care o f patients under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the mission and objectives of the Hospital. Experience, Education & Skills REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred.Current licensure in Texas as Registered Nurse.Previous experience in clinical medicalâ€"surgical nursâ€"ing or ambulatory care experience preferred.Current CPR certification.
