Requires 2-4 years of technical service or related experience. Associate's degree in electrical, mechanical, applied scien! ce or equivalent. Our company has a strong market share, is financially stable; and performed well and beyond expectations in 2012.SCOPE: The Field Resource Specialist is primarily responsible for technical support, repairing and servicing Mizuho OSI products (orthopedic equipment) in the field throughout the United States.The Field Resource Specialist provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooti! ng, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Chec! ks out and approves operational quality of system equipment, instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers' needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support representatives, or Engineers.
DUTIES
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Understand, support and follow the Corporate Vision, Mission & Values Statements.Support company goals and objectives.Understand, follow and support Mizuho OSI's internal Quality System policies, procedures and work instructions including but not limited to applicable external regulations (21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 820 Quality System Regulations and applicable International Standards).Troubleshoot, service, and repair surgical tables and related equipment at hospital customer site. Conduct preventive maintenance while serv! icing equipment and machinery. Support and promote company programs, contract sales, and initiatives as directed.Create and deliver accurate quotes based on company guidelines and procedures. Clearly complete service forms for hospital through company established systems.Operate table system to demonstrate equipment and to analyze malfunctions.Instruct and direct workers at customer sites in servicing and repairing equipment.Consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance.May advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of the job.
