TempSr Compensation & Benefits Rep Austin , TX (Oakhill Area)

Many of ArthroCare’s products are based on its patented Coblation technology, which uses low-temperature radiofrequency energy to gently and precisely dissolve rather than burn soft tissue â€" minimizing damage to healthy tissue. Used in more than four million surgeries worldwide, Coblation-based devices have been developed and marketed for sports medicine; spine/neurologic; ear, nose and throat (ENT); cosmetic; urologic and gynecologic procedures. ArthroCare also has added a number of novel technologies to its portfolio, including Opus Medical sports medicine, Parallax spine and Applied Therapeutics ENT products, to complement Coblation within key indications.

We are seeking a temporary Sr Compensation and Benefits Representative for a 4 month assignment from mid- Aug 2012 through mid- Dec 2012.

Experience:
Run and review Payroll data and send to Sr Payroll and Benefits Administrator

Run vacation and hours report bi-weekly

Support staffing activities by conducting job analysis and competitive benchmarking analysis. Analyze market information in light of company philosophy, goals, and financial constraints in compensation and benefits areas

Oversee and conduct HRIS reporting and metric development in order to support HR informational needs and reporting of HR information to the business.

Compile global HR systems data (Europe, Costa Rica, US) to consolidate reporting requirements. Assist in HRIS reporting and metric development on a worldwide basis in order to support HR informational needs and reporting of HR information to the business.

Compile Worldwide Headcount

Update and maintain US Org Charts

Coordinate Termination Processes

Prepare termination packages

Initiate Exit Interview Questionnaire and review

Qualifications:
Requires Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.

Minimum of five (5) years experience of professionally progressive work experience in Human resources function.

Compensation & Benefits and Payroll experience required.

Strong analytical skills

Computer software experience: Must be advanced user in: Excel, and ADP Workforce Now (e-Time, HRB and PayEx) system.

Provide coaching and guidance to managers through the lifecycle of the employee including direct assistance with the on-boarding process, employee development, performance management, and termination process. Make recommendations that effectively resolve problems by using judgment consistent with practices, policies, procedures and applicable employment regulations.

Provide counseling and coaching to managers and employees on employee relations matters including conducting investigations and managing the grievance process. Maintain a values-based employer/employee relationship and an ethical and positive work environment.

Work with human resource management to oversee the talent management process by actively partnering with the management team to identify and grow leadership, talent and technical capability in the business. This includes assessing the local market and selecting, on-boarding, and developing talent to meet the labor needs of the US campus.

Assist with the development and implementation of human resources practices and policies to enable the organization to fulfill business expectations while complying with US laws and regulations. Advises management team as needed regarding labor and employment laws and regulations. Ensures that all visas are obtained when needed and immigration laws are followed.

Advises senior management in the appropriate resolution of issues. Provides group and one-on-one coaching with managers to support leadership development and business decision-making.

Assists with HR audit processes regarding employee new hires and terminations.

Partner with HR colleagues globally to understand regional differences, to ensure customization of solutions that meet regional needs and to ensure the effective local implementation and coordination of HR strategies and processes.

Assist in providing HR training as needed to employees and managers.

Perform other duties as assigned.
