Resp! onsibilities:
Provides care in the Inpatient/ED utiliz! ing evidence-based practices. Is a resource person and preceptor when needed. Care given reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Utilizes initiative and maintains steady level of productivity and time management. Use’s a collaborative process for process improvement for the unit. Patient advocate reflect the mission, vision and standards of performance and of the facility, as well as the focus statement of the department. Competency will be maintained in accordance with criteria defined by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
This position calls for providing care in the ambulatory setting directed toward meeting both the psychosocial and physical needs of the patient. RN coordinates and supervises patient care; organizes and manages nursing activities reflecting consideration for patients' needs, and the needs of the staff and facility.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nur! sing.
Current state Registered Nurse Licensure within Texas; Current ACLS, PALS and BCLS certification; Successful completion of arrhythmia course.
BS in Nursing and one year of nursing experience preferred.
