Location: Gaston Avenue, Dallas, TX
Applicants must have front-office medical experience.
Principals only. Recruiters do not contact poster.
Essential Job Functions:
Check patients in and out.
Accurately enter patient data into computer.
Collect co-payments, deductibles, and balances due.
Accurately enter billing information into computer.
Schedule patient appointments and office surgeries.
Balance money at end of day and prepare balance sheet for billing ! manager.
Prepare insurance verifications.
Import super! bills into EMR.
Prepare letters to referring physicians.
Maintain x-ray files.
Function as a team player.
Able to take positive criticism and feedback from supervisor.
Assist in office cleaning.
Preferred Characteristics and Qualifications:
Have a pleasant outgoing demeanor with patients, coworkers and doctors
Must have strong verbal communication skills.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and perform multi-tasks.
Have good computer skills and willing to learn new software.
Must be a team player.
Follow company policies.
Maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information.
