Texoma Medical Center , a 165-bed acute care facility has

Position Summary : To perform routine
blood drawing procedures including but not limited to proper
collection of venous and capillary specimens. This position also
assists in clerical duties and processing of outpatients.
Requirements
Completion of high school or equivalent. Training
and certification from accredited phlebotomy program preferred.
Previous experience a plus.
ASCP (American
Society of Clinical Pathologist) certified as Phlebotomist desired,
but not required.
Must have the ability to read, write
and learn a computer system. Must demonstrate knowledge and skill in
obtaining laboratory specimens from all age groups. Must have good
verbal communication and listening skills. Must have commitment to
team operation with customer service spirit.
